THE ISSUEIf you would like to see this article placed in newspapers all over the country:The North American Union (NAU) emerged from the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) – founded in March, 2005 by the governments of Canada, Mexico and the Bush Administration in the U.S. Modeled after the functionally inept European Union, the NAU would permanently alter the way America is governed by usurping domestic sovereignty in the name of trans-border integration. The NAU will remove the borders between America, Mexico and Canada. The NAU will also aim to ‘unite’ the countries through the creation of a common currency called the Amero. The Amero, like the Euro in Europe, would replace the domestic currencies of North America; The U.S. dollar, Mexican peso and Canadian loonie would no longer exist. The first step of the implementation of the NAU is through the creation of the NAFTA Superhighway, a major foreign owned toll road through the middle of the U.S. America’s portion of the toll road is Interstate I-35, one of the nation’s four major north-south highways. ![]() The Map of The Proposed NAFTA Superhighway, The First Step In Turning All Of North America Into A Borderless Country The largest American portion of the NAFTA Superhighway is the 600 mile-long Trans Texas Corridor (TTC-35). The private Spanish firm, Cintra, was awarded a 50 year contract to operate the toll roads along this U.S. stretch. This essentially amounted to an absolute monopoly by a private foreign firm over one of the four major north-south U.S. highway corridors for the next half century. Dubious contract provisions included:
• The charging of ambulances and fire trucks a partial toll for road use • The ability for Cintra to raise the toll every two years • The ability for Cintra to operate all gasoline and commercial concessions along the route The Texas Department of Transportation – urged by the protest of tens-of-thousands of Texans – recently announced it will forgo plans to erect the Trans-Texas Corridor. This outpouring of support by the people of Texas is an initial victory – and the first democratic say by the people – against the much larger NAU, which threatens the very existence of America as we know it. EIC POSITION“If it comes to be, The North American Union (NAU) will be the nail in the coffin to American independence. It will combine the United States, Canada and Mexico into one nation, with one common currency. There will be no more America, Mexico or Canada, only North America. There will be no dollar, peso, or loonie, only a new currency called the Amero. America as a democratic and sovereign nation will no longer exist.” WHAT YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW
