Value Added Tax

Democrats and Republicans are constantly swept up in debate regarding labels. Republicans generally argue for free trade while progressive democrats campaign for fair trade. In reality, all that American citizens are doing is getting caught up in a false-ideological battle whilst ignoring actual issues.

We have become a nation enslaved by consumption, and as a result the wealth our country once held has been transferred to countries like China and Germany. The U.S. economy has become an outsourcer of not only workers and production but of our own investments.

War has been declared against America, an economic war that has destroyed a major part of our economy.

Japan started a trade war for market share by closing its domestic market, subsidizing and selling its exports at cost, and making up the profit in the closed market.

Our “free trade” policies have allowed other countries to use unfair tactics to put our industries out of business.
