Our government is actually rewarding corporations for moving jobs overseas.

Now and For the Long Run 1  


We have an industrial policy for domestic commerce like anti-trust, provisions against price fixing, etc. But we need an industrial policy for foreign commerce like agricultural quotas. This will put America back to work and save our economy.

Disastrous wars are crippling our nation; when will Americans say "enough is enough?" +  


As the nation and individual states slide into bankruptcy the military machine relentlessly marches on and on and on.

In this time of financial upheaval and massive fiscal deficits so-called “spend thrift” politicians are clamoring to cut spending in virtually every direction. However very few, including the current Obama administration, seem willing to pull the plug on America’s inflated defense budget.

BP has already failed on its promise to promptly fund all financial claims resulting from the spill. The oil giant spared no expense when it came to funding television and radio commercials and building a claims website.

Tuesday was a sad day for this country. The House had the opportunity to stop the war in Afghanistan in its tracks. Instead it voted to continue to fund the war approving the $58.8 billion war funding bill.
