America must wake up to the fact that China is not our friend. They steal our jobs, pirate our technology and put high tariffs on American made exports—sometimes as high as 300 percent—to keep them out of their markets.

Who in their right mind would think China is our friend? Erin Burnett would.

Ms. Burnett has her own show on CNN, Erin Burnett OutFront; prior to that, she anchored and appeared on shows on CNBC, NBC, MSNBC and even Donald Trump’s The Apprentice. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs. Having graduated from Williams College with a B.A. in Political Economy, it’s clear that Ms. Burnett is a woman with an education yet she uses her network pulpit to spread her ridiculous ideas on foreign relations.

Here is what Erin Burnett has to say about China:

The fact that someone in the media paints China like this is frightening. What parent wants to give their children toys with lead paint? Who wants to eat poisoned food? Despite the low sticker price, a cheap, Chinese-made good that puts you in the hospital will end up costing you more in the long run.

Globalists like Ms. Burnett paint a rosy picture of “free” trade, but the reality is much darker. We open our borders to dirty, even toxic, food while nations like China close their borders with protectionism against high quality, American-made products.

Erin Burnett is wrong; China is not our friend. We do not need toxic imports to survive. We need America-made products, so the American middle class can earn a livable wage, and so we can keep our families healthy. With friends like China, who needs enemies?
