A Nation Lost

How deluded have we become as a country to think that we have the power to tell other nations what to do? We cannot even run our own country properly. Are we crazy? We are already in too many wars. We are locked into wars in the Middle East that we cannot win. We are losing, if we haven't lost already, the all important economic war. We are in phantom wars on drugs, terrorists and other abstract ideas with no identifiable enemy to fight.

America has become a nation lost. We can't make our own weapons, we are so entrenched in debt that our children's children will not even be able to pay it all back. We owe China over $600 billion plus interest. China, along with other countries, build all the things our country needs to live on to survive. We cannot tell them how to run their country when we are living on imports and debt.

Right now we are taking sides with South Korea against North Korea. South Korea does not show us preferential treatment. The South Korean government keeps our imports out of their markets. In 2007 South Korea sold the U.S. 615,000 cars while only allowing 7,000 of our cars into their country. They are not our friends any more than North Korea.

How do we think we will pay for another war? Will our creditors keep giving us money and weapons to fight with, killing ourselves both literally and financially? We are bleeding to death and to debt.

Hillary Clinton has been talking to China. Who are we to tell China – our biggest creditor – to leave Taiwan alone, or what side to take on Asian countries' disputes? What these nations do is not our business.

America needs to realize that our greatest threat is ourselves. We have sold 16,613 of our best companies in the past 30 years. We are living in debt on every level. We do not even make the products we need to sustain life. We should be focusing on rebuilding our manufacturing base. We should be focusing on living within our means. We should be rebuilding America, not trying to run the whole world.

Let's stop with the gloom and doom. Hasn't President Obama promised to direct his "laser-like focus" on bringing back our jobs? Didn't he say that jobs were a top priority?

Well?!

Latest news:

Gross Domestic Product, the output of all goods and services, grew at only a 2.4 percent annual pace compared to a revised 3.7 percent in the first quarter.

Imports are surging.

There are implications for a slower growth rate.

No light at the end of the tunnel? Just a printing press!

"once China has 2000 N Bombs"

how do you know that they don't already have twice that number, or more? don't forget that our own CIA has been surprised when Pakistan suddenly went nuclear, same thing for India, Korea, these other countries must really really be laughing at us by now. Laughing hysterically, as Uncle Sam has alzheimer's while the new world order keeps knocking the old man down on their way to the checkout counter.
hahahhaah get out of our way, old man!

Our CIA was surprised? Wow! and we spend $75 Billion a year for our cold war intelligence with 854,000 people at it? Amazing...

Since we spend practically nothing in economic intelligence, how is our economic war going? Remember Bin Laden vowed to bankrupt our country!

China has been very polite to Hillary Clinton. If they would have said, take a hike, she could not have done anything.

Once China collects 2000 N Bombs, it would be difficult to threaten them. Those days are not very far as China would be #2 country in economy by next year.
