I think that is a conservative estimate. The actual job loss could be 4 to 5 times that as follows.

Assuming General Electric represents a sample trade products company that employs 354,000 people (direct and contract) and has a revenue of $156 Billion; now we get a number of displacement at 605,884 workers for $267 Billion.

Now add 4 times that much for all the suppliers to produce the final products, you get a scary picture.

That is just for China Trade. Imagine the world trade deficit and then think the total imports.]]></description>
