The U.S. is in Real Trouble
by Craig Harrington on March 18, 2010 - 12:46pm
The government, media and the president lament the evils of protectionism in the free trade system. Meanwhile the U.S. is in the midst of an international trade war and is losing due to our lack of protectionism. The U.S. was founded on policies that put America first using strong economic buffers on our borders, it is time to protect our country once again.

The Leftists predicted that the workers would rise up, throw off their chains and stage a revolution. They lamented the poor creatures, slaving away in the sweatshops of manufacturing.
Imagine their disappointment when instead, the American workers bought cars and houses, took vacations to Disney World and sent their kids to college. Yes, the rising American Middle Class pretty much put the quietus to the glorious revolution.
When the Leftists realized that globalization could vindicate their theories, they were all too happy to put their blessing on "free trade" with what some have called a "criminal enterprise," namely, Communist China. Could it be that ol' Karl and ol' Mao are celebrating . . . somewhere?
