I hope that you'll offer a real discussion forum such as a pHp style forum. A good example of what I'm talking about can be found here:

We are using Rails, not PHP, but our goal is to keep building on the Forums until they function the same way. Very soon everyone will have the ability to sign up and sign in, people will still have the option of being a "guest" if they wish.
